Kenpal Is HACCP and AFIA Certified
HACCP Kenpal Farm Products Inc. was the first feed company in North America to achieve certification under the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) – ANAC/SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance, the worlds largest inspection, testing, and certification organization) six years ago and has since been re-certified. HACCP programs are globally accepted, system and product based, to assure the safe production of a food product. The program is designed to protect the food supply by following a system to prevent contamination by chemical, biological and physical hazards at every stage of the manufacturing and delivery process. With increasing customer awareness and concern about food safety, Kenpal customers can be assured that our plant and products meet international standards. AFIA – Safe Feed/Safe Food Program Kenpal Farm Products is also certified under the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA). This Safe Feed/Safe Food Leadership Program was launched in September 2004 and was created to demonstrate and ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of a safe and wholesome feed supply for the growth and care of animals. This program compliments our HACCP certification to further assure our customers that Kenpal is committed to food safety. |
